Decisions, Decisions.......

We have talked about this a bit but we are thinking that I might homeschool Cassidy for her first grade year. I have a friend who works in a local elementary school who helps parents who homeschool and if we do, when Will finally gets his orders, we would be able to move with him and not have to wait out the school year. It seems like the best decision but I am nervous, I never pictured me homeschooling any of my children.

New Job

I belong to a group here, just a group of military wives. On the website about a month ago one of the girls posted that she works for Gymboree and that they are hiring someone to do tasking. The hours would be once or twice a month on Sundays from 6pm to 1am. You would process new shipments and set them on the floor. So, I applied and got the job and had my first night last night. It was pretty good!!! I am just excited to have a little more money coming in yet I am not going to be gone really at all, we normally dont do anything Sunday nights anyway. And I definitely did not quit Arbonne!!! It is going great and I love it, but I am nto gonna turn down a great opportunity. And I get a pretty nice discount, woo hoo.

Mosquito update

Ok, so we went to the ER when Will got home, we weren't able to get a regular doc appointment so we had to go to the VA. So, they looked at it and were all shocked at how big it was and even more that I didnt have any other symptoms (fever, pain shooting down my leg, etc). I also showed them some other mosquito bites I have, it seems like they all get pretty bad quickly, just never this bad. After seeing that, they determined I have a hyper-sensitivity to mosquito bites.......ummm hello, I live in critter country out here in the midwest, so unfortunately this summer wont be so hot for me if I get bit. At least they didn't cut me open like Will scared me with :)

I hate mosquitos!!

I have been walking every morning with some of my friends here and then taking the girls to the park after. Then, on Tuesday night I had my bible study and we sat outside, between those two things, I got bit a ton by mosquitos, they are horrible this year!!! Well, one on my leg is now the size of a grapefruit!!!! Will says it is infected probably and needs to be checked by a doctor. I am not looking forward to it at all!!!!! Dang mosquitos!!!!!

Not what we wanted

Well, Will talked to his career counselor and they told him the soonest we could be out of here and back in Cali is January. That's sooner than before but not as soon as we had hoped. So, here is my dilemma. I can home school Cassidy for first grade, it wouldn't bother me and we could leave in January....but we would have to drive our cars and you all know how bad the weather can be that time of year. Or, we just wait and have things go the way they were originally. Will could leave here in March and we would stay until June for Cass to finish her first grade here and then we would come out. The only thing I don't like, besides it being too long to wait, lol, is that Will would leave to go overseas before we could come out there to be with him :( So, I guess I have a lot of thinking to do!!! Any thoughts or suggestions could help :)

The Gratitude Campaign

I belong to a group out here for military wives and one of the ladies posted abut this website tonight. It is about thanking military service members when you come across one without saying a word. I think it is awesome so I wanted to share. Here is the web address:

Waiting for Orders

So, as most of you know we are trying to get orders back to California. We are really excited to get back home but at the same time, it would mean that Will would be leaving to go overseas for about a year. He checked on order status yesterday and they had San Diego orders however it was also for him to go to Afghanistan. He wants the ones that would send him to the horn of Africa. So, we started talking last night and since he is going overseas he might be able to go sooner, like in the next couple of monthes. So, he is talking to a career counselor to see if we could be getting out of here to come back home in a couple monthes. It would be great because then we could put Cassidy in a better school district and everything. Keep your fingers crossed :)

Also, here is just a random picture, I will try to post a new one with every post so you get to see us :)

Nothing new, Just to say hello

So, someone at my bible study tonight told me about this site and about blogging. I just figured it was a great way to let you all know how we are and what we are doing, when we havent talked for a bit. It is private (dont worry mom) so only people I invite can read it. I will be posting some pictures and other things soon. I just didnt want people to get to this site and see nothing :) Alright, enjoy and I will talk to you all later. Oh, and if the e-mail that was sent out didnt say it, our web address is www.kandwhall.blogspot.com
